We are expanding our team of commissioning experts and are seeking to hire a Mechanical Commissioning Lead in the Datacentre industry. You will play an integral role in the lead out of commissioning activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Level 1–5 commissioning and QA/QC documentation for mechanical and utility systems.
- Plan and coordinate inspections, testing, and schedules for efficient project delivery.
- Support commissioning from pre-construction through performance acceptance.
- Review design specifications, submittals, drawings, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, clients, and vendors.
- Lead functional performance testing and validate systems against design requirements.
- Ensure installations comply with codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Document non-conformances, manage punch lists, and conduct walkdowns and turnover.
- Continuously improve procedures through lessons learned.
- Maintain familiarity with LEED requirements and support cross-team collaboration.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of commissioning experience on large, high-tech data center construction projects.
- Trade or degree qualification in a mechanical discipline.
- Hands-on data center commissioning experience across Levels 1–5.
- Strong knowledge of BMS, HVAC, and related mechanical systems.
- Commissioning certification (e.g., CCP, QCxP) preferred.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with strong communication skills.
