Overview
Tips Hub Excursions is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief of Staff to lead and coordinate the operational strategy and management of our adventure activities, ensuring optimal performance across all departments, with a special focus on our quad & buggy operations.
Responsibilities
* Leadership & Strategy: Oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of Hub Excursions. Coordinate the leadership team, providing guidance to ensure the company’s objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
* Operational Oversight: Direct and manage the daily operations of our adventure activities (including quad & buggy) and ensure smooth coordination between departments such as customer service, sales, and field operations, safety and operational protocols.
* Safety & Risk Management: Maintain and enforce high safety standards across all activities. Ensure all equipment is maintained and operational safety protocols are followed to guarantee a safe and enjoyable experience for clients.
* Leadership & Development: Lead and manage teams across various departments. Work closely with managers to ensure that teams are well-trained, motivated, and equipped to meet performance goals.
* Customer Experience: Ensure that clients receive exceptional service and that all activities are tailored to their preferences, providing a unique and memorable adventure experience. Address customer concerns proactively and ensure high satisfaction.
* Department Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration between operations, marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth and effective interdepartmental coordination.
* Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and safety data. Provide regular reports to the executive team with actionable insights for improvement and business growth.
* Multilingual Communication: Lead a diverse, international team and engage with clients from various cultural backgrounds. Fluency in English and Spanish is required; additional languages are a strong advantage.
* Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Oversee financial aspects of operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost management, ensuring the company’s profitability and sustainability.
* Business Growth & Expansion: Develop and implement strategies for expanding business operations, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring the company stays ahead in the competitive adventure tourism market.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the adventure tourism, hospitality, or outdoor activity sectors.
* Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and departments.
* Exceptional safety awareness and ability to enforce operational control.
* Fluency in English and Spanish; additional foreign languages are highly desirable.
* Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Proven ability to manage large-scale operations and drive business growth.
