Position Summary
Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Fill cart with supplies and transport to assigned areas. Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering. Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms. Change linens and towels, make beds, and clean bathrooms. Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items. Check that all appliances are present and functioning. Tidy furniture and appliances, dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
Guest Service and Team Support
Follow all company, safety, and security policies; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; store flammable materials properly. Ensure a professional appearance and maintain confidentiality. Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards; anticipate and address their needs; assist guests with disabilities; thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Support team efforts to achieve goals. Adhere to quality standards.
Physical Requirements
* Move, lift, carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and more with assistance.
* Push and pull loaded carts and equipment over uneven surfaces.
* Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
* Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods.
* Handle objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
