ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
Airnest – Las Palmas (one day per week WFH)
POSITION SUMMARY
Airnest is growing fast, and we’re looking for an Assistant Accountant to support our finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping and reporting. You’ll help keep our accounts accurate and up to date, assist with owner statements, and provide general support on payroll and compliance. This is an ideal role for someone early in their accounting career who wants to grow within a dynamic hospitality business.
COMPENSATION
* Base salary:
€18,000 – €22,000, depending on experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Bookkeeping & Daily Support
* Post income and expenses for hotels, vacation rentals, and coworking.
* Help reconcile bank accounts and monitor day-to-day cash movements.
* Assist in preparing month-end journals and supporting documentation.
Owner & Internal Reporting
* Support in generating monthly statements for property owners.
* Help maintain accurate records in Holded and Excel.
* Assist in compiling basic reports for management.
Payroll & Compliance
* Provide data to our HR partner for monthly payroll.
* Help gather invoices, receipts, and documentation for IGIC and other filings handled by our external accountants.
QUALIFICATIONS
* 1–2 years of accounting or finance support experience.
* Basic understanding of bookkeeping and Spanish accounting principles.
* Comfortable with Excel and open to learning tools like Holded.
* Good communication skills in Spanish (English a plus).
* Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
