As .NET Software Engineer you will play a key role in the design and development of a flexible Car Rental Paltform, with over 15 years industry experience, providing solutions that our partners appreciate and trust. You will collaborate closely with architects, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver robust solutions that meet the demands of enterprise-scale environments.Our core stack:Language: C#Framework: .NET 6 – 8Database: MSSQL, Aurora, PostgresSQLArchitecture: Microservices, REST API, SOAPRequired skills:2+ years commercial experience in delivering software solutions, ideally in an e-commerce environmentStrong experience with C# and .NET Core / .NET 6 – 8Demonstrable experience working with data storage such as SQL Server or PostgressExperience developing APIs – REST/SOAP with e.g. JSON, XML, etcExperience with test automation, writing unit and integration tests using frameworks like xUnit, NSubstituteFamiliar with Docker, CI-CD Pipelines (environments like TeamCity and Jenkins) and GitFamiliar with SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Clean ArchitectureNice to have:Experience with Kubernetes and AWSBasic knowledge NodeJS and AngularTDD mindsetCurious, ambitious and eager to learnNon-Technical Skill:Comfortable working in an Agile environmentExperience within the car hire/car broker industry would be a distinct advantage, but not essential.Fluent in English is a must, both written and verbal.
