QHSSE Manager – Spain (Madrid HQ)

We’re working with a leading aviation organisation to appoint a
QHSSE Manager
to drive safety, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple stations in Spain.
This is a
senior leadership role
with full ownership of Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environmental standards across a complex, multi-site operation.

You’ll be responsible for
shaping and embedding a best-in-class QHSSE culture, ensuring full compliance with aviation regulations, and driving continuous improvement across all operational sites.
This is a
high-impact, strategic role
with strong visibility across leadership, customers, and regulatory bodies.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading QHSSE strategy across all Spanish operations
Ensuring compliance with
ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, ISAGO, ICAO & IATA standards
Driving
risk management, incident investigation & corrective actions
Leading
internal & external audits
and regulatory engagement
Developing
Business Continuity Plans & Emergency Response Plans
Delivering
training, awareness, and cultural change programmes
Acting as the
Aviation Security lead (PNS compliance)
Partnering with senior stakeholders across operations, airlines & authorities
What We’re Looking For
10+ years’ experience in
QHSSE leadership
within aviation / logistics / industrial environments
Strong background in
ground handling or air cargo operations
Deep knowledge of
ISAGO, IGOM, ICAO & IATA frameworks
Proven ability to lead
multi-site, international operations
Strong experience in
auditing, compliance & continuous improvement
Recognised
Health & Safety certification
Fluent in
Spanish & English
Comfortable with
regular travel across Spain
