Key Responsibilities Include:
Leading the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, and tax filings.
Managing full-cycle accounting functions and ensuring accurate month-end closings.
Supporting group-level financial consolidation and reporting in coordination with the Global Head of Finance.
Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards (Spanish GAAP and IFRS).
Acting as a liaison with regulatory bodies, including the CNMV and Bank of Spain.
Coordinating with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate audits and financial planning.
Contributing to strategic financial analysis and decision-making.
Candidate Profile:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the financial industry.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) are highly preferred.
Fluency in Spanish and at least a working level of English (business fluency is an advantage).
Proven ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail and accountability.
