The SSHE Coordinator will be the primary contact for all Security, Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) matters within the Go to Market segment across Spain, Italy, France, and Iberia. This role oversees the Distribution Centre, Refrigerated Vans, and office environments in these countries. Responsibilities include leading the SSHE agenda, aiming for Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents environmentally, with a particular focus on Road Safety.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Serve as the main SSHE representative for Distribution Centres, Refrigerated Vans, and Offices in Eastern Europe.
2. Drive and align the SSHE agenda with company goals of Zero Harm and environmental safety.
3. Maintain compliance with SHE systems, industry, and legislative requirements.
4. Develop and monitor SHE improvement plans.
5. Manage daily SHE activities, including risk assessments and reporting.
6. Conduct SHE audits and analyze data to improve safety and environmental indicators.
7. Advise and coach management on SHE best practices.
8. Implement and oversee Road Safety initiatives.
9. Ensure safety measures are in place for warehousing and refrigeration systems.
10. Apply safety guidelines in offices, ensuring safety assessments for all events.
11. Ensure compliance with all SSHE regulations and policies.
12. Develop and deliver SHE training programs.
13. Lead investigations and reporting of SSHE incidents.
14. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for SSHE performance.
Qualifications / experience & skills :
1. Cert IV in OH&S or a related field, or higher.
2. Experience in Return to Work qualifications.
3. Strong knowledge of legislation.
4. Excellent computer literacy.
5. Minimum 5-7 years in SSHE roles, preferably in supply chain or logistics.
6. Knowledge of SSHE regulations and practices, with strong communication and leadership skills.
7. Relevant SSHE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are desirable.
8. Growth mindset, proactive, and committed to safety culture and continuous improvement.
9. Customer focus, ensuring safety for internal and external stakeholders.
10. Decisive, responsible, and KPI-driven.
11. Leadership skills to coach and develop teams.
