Position Summary
The Accountant & Administrative Finance Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting and reporting processes, and handling general administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the finance department. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work across both finance and administration functions.
The job requires working in an office located in Fraga, in the region of Catalonia. We offer adaptable working hours, allowing you to work from 7:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Management: Registration, verification, and reconciliation of purchase and service invoices.
- Fixed Assets: Control, monitoring, and depreciation of assets in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Financial Reporting Support:
- Prepare and provide accurate financial information for FR Poland, FR Romania, and FR Portugal.
- Control and maintain documentation for new FR (invoices, CMR, and other supporting documents).
- Substitution Tasks during maternity leave, ensuring continuity of finance operations such as:
- Customer Rappel Management: Monthly calculation and validation of customer rappel agreements.
- Rainbow Italy Accounting & Reporting: Handle general accounting tasks and prepare detailed financial reports for Rainbow Italy.
- Tax Compliance: Manage phytosanitary sales tax obligations for France.
- Sales & Stock Reporting:
- Prepare weekly sales reports for Rainbow EU and Rainbow Italy.
- Monitor and report stock changes for Rainbow Italy.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting and administrative finance roles, preferably in international or multi-country organizations.
- Experience with month-end/year-end closing, audits, and advanced financial reconciliations.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles.
- Experience in ERP systems (SAP or similar) is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to prepare, analyze, and present complex financial reports.
- Knowledge of international tax and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, independent, and capable of working under minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across multiple countries.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
