The SSHE Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for all Security, Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) matters within the Go to Market segment of Spain, Italy, France, and Iberia. This role encompasses oversight of the Distribution Centre, Refrigerated Vans, and office environments across these countries. The SSHE Coordinator will lead and support the SSHE agenda, with a focus on achieving Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents in Environment, with a key emphasis on Road Safety.
Key Responsibilities :
* Act as the main SSHE representative for the Distribution Centres, Refrigerated Vans, and Office locations in the designated countries.
* Drive the SSHE agenda, ensuring alignment with company goals of Zero Harm and zero Category 1 incidents.
* Maintain the SHE system to ensure compliance with company, industry, and legislative requirements.
* Develop, monitor, and assist in SHE improvement plans.
* Manage daily SHE activities, including risk assessments, actions, and reporting.
* Conduct SHE audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement areas.
* Complete SHE reporting and analyze data to track indicators.
* Provide support, advice, and coaching on SHE management practices to management and teams.
* Implement and monitor road safety initiatives.
* Ensure safety measures are in place for the distribution center, including refrigeration systems and personnel safety.
* Implement safety guidelines in offices and assess safety for events.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant SSHE regulations and policies.
* Develop and deliver SHE training programs.
* Lead investigations and reporting of SSHE incidents.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for SSHE performance.
Qualifications / experience & skills :
* Cert IV in OH&S or higher qualification in a related field.
* Return to Work qualifications and experience.
* Strong knowledge of legislation.
* Excellent computer and literacy skills.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SSHE roles, preferably in supply chain or logistics.
* Strong knowledge of SSHE regulations and best practices, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Relevant SSHE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
* Growth mindset with the ability to drive safety culture change and continuous improvement.
* Focus on consumer and customer safety, supporting their needs.
* Proactive, decisive, and goal-oriented.
* Ability to lead by example and support team development.
