About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Field Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, and after-sales service of power equipment across Spain and nearby regions. This role is highly field-based and requires regular travel to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
Perform on-site installation, testing, commissioning, and energization of electrical/power equipment in accordance with company and local standards
Provide after-sales technical support, including troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and corrective actions to ensure reliable equipment operation
Respond promptly to customer issues and deliver effective technical solutions on-site
Train and guide customers on equipment operation, routine maintenance, and safety practices
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain tools and testing equipment in good condition
Support multi-site projects and travel frequently within Spain and occasionally across Europe
Requirements
Technical diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical systems, such as: substation commissioning or maintenance, industrial equipment installation or troubleshooting, field service or project coordination
Basic understanding of power systems, switchgear, transformers, or industrial electrical equipment
Fluent in both Spanish and English (Must be able to communicate with colleagues and clients in the daily work)
Willingness to work on-site and travel frequently
Strong sense of responsibility, problem-solving mindset, and good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in substation projects or high/medium voltage equipment
Knowledge of European electrical standards (IEC, etc.)
Previous experience working in an international or multicultural environment
