Your responsibilities will include:
Deploying commodity strategy
* Ensure project execution in line with QCDT objectives.
* Support global supplier panel relationships, including workload management, negotiations, and specific agreements.
Supplier relationship management
* Support and manage global supplier panel relationships.
* Manage specific supplier relationships, negotiate, and establish specific agreements.
* Monitor daily supplier performance and resolve issues.
* Address initial issues before escalation to line manager.
* Respect Alstom Transport's code of ethics and guidelines.
Commodity support on site
* Consolidate commodity needs and inputs.
* Participate actively in commodity strategy and panel development.
* Provide inputs to build differentiation.
* Support the Commodity Manager during tender phases.
* Represent commodities in projects, platforms, and solutions.
* Collaborate effectively with internal customers and stakeholders to solve problems.
* Apply the Alstom Transport sourcing process and share experiences.
Involvement in projects
* Coordinate projects across all disciplines.
* Prepare and launch Requests For Quotation using standard tools.
* Lead project negotiations.
* Monitor sourcing project QCDT and legal developments (Business Award, Product Development).
* Ensure commitment to work package sheets.
* Prepare for Business Awards.
Support the PrSM (Project Sourcing Manager)
* Participate in project management committees.
* Manage change requests, consolidating needs and quotations, and challenge stakeholders for cost optimization.
* Ensure QCD application of modifications in coordination with the Project Manager.
* Report on claims.
* Prepare weekly reports.
Ideal candidate profile
* Business school or Engineering degree.
* 2 to 5 years of industry experience.
* Good interpersonal skills, including leadership and communication.
* Fluent in French and English.
* Valid Driver's License required.
