As Mechanical Engineer you ́ll be part of the mechanical department and report to the Mechanical Manager. You ́ll have to carry out following functions, amongst others: To supervise and follow up works in progress in the workshop and in the field. To prepare Service and Workshop reports, Technical administrative tasks, drawing and schemes undestanding, any other task assigned by the Mechanical Manager. Leading teams.
Supervise and troubleshoot preventive and corrective maintenance of marine and industrial 2 and 4 stroke diesel engines, seprators, coolers, compressors, winches, gearboxes, hydraulic cylinders, etc.
Qualifications
Marine Engineer (2nd Engineer on board Cargo Ships above 3000kW power) or Mechanical or with Experience with above mentioned jobs
5+ years of Experience either on board ships or within naval repairs
Experience with diesel engines
Able to read and understand manuals and drawing
Good English Level. At least basic level of Spanish is needed.
