Responsibilities
- Support critical finance business functions for customers while meeting availability goals and ensuring robust system performance.
- Build tools to simplify and scale our infrastructure for integral expansion.
- Design technology solutions and architectures that solve complex business and technical problems.
- Evaluate technical project requirements, identify gaps in current service-level functionalities, and provide recommendations for long-term and short-term solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to applications, on-premises infrastructure, and AWS services.
- Understand, document, and fix service-level failures from incoming issues.
- Provide infrastructure support for third-party applications.
- Design and develop scripts for automation and self-service issue resolution.
- Lead projects that improve engineering and operations processes, setting standards for engineering best practices and operational excellence within the team.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and one year of experience.
- Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) working with UNIX or Linux operating systems; (2) utilizing programming and scripting languages including Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, C++, or equivalent languages; and (3) troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of technical issues.
