Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II) in the Faculty of Engineering (Ref.: 533953) to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Responsibilities
* Lead and provide a full spectrum of administrative support in taught postgraduate programmes.
* Manage a small team to deliver a wide range of tasks related to programme operation and student matter administration, including admission, curriculum and syllabus revisions, and examination matters.
* Participate in outreach initiatives to promote taught postgraduate programmes, monitor market trends, student preferences, and competitor activities to inform recruitment strategies, and enhance brand visibility.
* Required to work outside office hours and on weekends, with occasional travel.
Qualifications
* Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of relevant work experience, including proven supervisory experience, preferably within tertiary institutions.
* Fluency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is required.
* Demonstrated good written and oral communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
* Capacity to manage multiple tasks independently, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
