Sales Regional Account Manager – Southern Europe (Based in Spain or Italy)

Unattended Retail | Smart Vending | Payments | IoT | SaaS

Location:
Remote – Southern Europe

Languages:
English plus another European language.

With a significant installed customer base across North America and a growing international presence with European business in Sweden, Greece, Germany, Italy & Portugal already, the business provides innovative solutions spanning cashless payments, vending management, telemetry, micro markets, smart coolers, self-service retail and connected commerce technologies.
Following substantial recent investment and strategic expansion initiatives, the organisation is accelerating growth across Europe and is seeking experienced commercial professionals to help drive market penetration and establish long-term partnerships across key territories.
The business combines the agility of a growth-focused technology company with the backing, resources and stability of a large international organisation.

The Opportunity:
This is not a traditional lead generation or entry-level business development role.
We are seeking experienced business development professionals with a proven ability to develop new markets, build strategic partnerships and generate revenue growth across Europe.
You will play a key role in supporting the company's continued expansion across the DACH region, France, Italy, Spain and other priority European markets.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of unattended retail, vending technology, payments, telemetry, IoT, self-service retail or adjacent sectors and be comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers across operators, distributors, manufacturers and channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities across Europe
Build and manage strategic relationships with operators, distributors, resellers and channel partners
Develop territory growth plans and execute market expansion strategies
Engage with senior stakeholders and decision-makers within target organisations
Support the development of partner ecosystems across key markets
Collaborate with product, marketing and leadership teams to influence commercial strategy
Attend industry exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings throughout Europe
Monitor competitor activity, market trends and customer requirements
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and CRM reporting

Candidate Profile:

Essential-
5-10+ years' experience in business development, sales, channel management or strategic account management
Proven success within unattended retail, vending, payments, fintech, telemetry, IoT or related technology sectors
Strong track record of generating new business and opening new markets
Experience developing channel, distributor or strategic partner relationships
Excellent communication, presentation and commercial negotiation skills
Ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced international environment

Highly Desirable-
Existing network within European vending, unattended retail or payments markets
Experience selling hardware-enabled SaaS, payment solutions or connected technology platforms
Understanding of cashless payments, acquiring, processing, telemetry or self-service retail ecosystems
Previous responsibility for multi-country European territories

Additional European languages would be viewed favourably.
