**Psychologist for Secondary Cycle - Part-Time (50%)**

**Start date**: 1st September 2025
**Contract**: Fixed-term until 31/08/2026 (with possibility of extension)
**Salary**: Approx. €2,300 gross/month (including extra payments)
The European School of Alicante is seeking a part-time school psychologist to support students in the secondary cycle. The role focuses on prevention, general, and individual intervention in academic, emotional, and social areas. Responsibilities include:
- **Individual Support**: Counseling students, guiding parents, attending SEN meetings, conducting observations.
- **Prevention**: Raising awareness on psycho-social risks, preventing learning and behavioral issues, collaborating with the school team.
- **General Interventions**: Leading workshops, advising teachers, crisis management.
- **Well-being**: Supporting mental health initiatives, advising on socio-emotional challenges, group or individual support.
- **Educational Support**: Early detection of learning difficulties, coordinating with specialists, advising on inclusive education.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Psychology
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with adolescents
- Fluency in English and Spanish (C1 level)
- Skills in diagnostics, pedagogy, and IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently or in a team
**Assets**:
- Master's in Psychopedagogy, Educational Psychology, or related fields
- Experience in schools or the European School system
- Knowledge of additional EU languages
- Certified training in education
