About the role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Safety Administrator
to join our team in Zaragoza, Spain. This position is idóneo for someone with a solid foundation in safety administration who is looking to grow their career in a dynamic, fast-paced construction or industrial environment. The role will support the project's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) function, ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining site safety programs and procedures.
- Support EHS managers and site supervisors with documentation, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Coordinate safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and induction programs.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Help ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Monitor site conditions and report any unsafe acts or hazards.
- Support communication between project teams, contractors, and safety personnel.
- Prepare and distribute safety-related communications, statistics, and reports.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of
3 years of experience
in a safety administrative/ support role, preferably in construction, industrial, or engineering environments.
- Basic knowledge of
EHS regulations and safety management systems
.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in
English
; proficiency in
Spanish
is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Relevant certification or training in
Health and Safety
is preferred.
