Your role
* Define, manage and execute the budget for technical investments at the Puurs factory and participate in the European Engineering department.
* Manage projects in other European factories as business needs arise (initial focus on the Puurs factory for 2–3 years).
* Design and implement industrial structures that respond to business strategy and align with industrial management.
* Act as a technical guide and support digitalization of production processes, implementing the environmental and energy sustainability strategy defined by the Engineering & Sustainability departments.
* Identify and implement efficiency projects within a continuous improvement process initiated by Operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Manage assigned technical projects using specific processes and tools of the project management methodology, achieving quality, budget and timing objectives.
* Define technical specifications and requirements for each project, request supplier offers, and analyze them from a technical and economic perspective.
* Conduct commercial negotiations for technical systems, with support from purchasing if needed.
* Handle administrative tasks such as CAPEX requests, purchase orders and billing verification.
* Promote continuous improvement by defining and implementing efficiency or waste reduction projects and supporting efficiency projects from other functions.
* Support factories in ongoing digitization and manage OT (operational technology) issues.
* Design new and modify existing plants for sustainable engineering, reducing environmental impact and energy consumption, supporting the Sustainability department’s CO2 zero emission roadmap.
* Lead or participate in cross‑functional project teams with a project‑oriented structure.
* Contribute to the development of a multi‑year plan to ensure performance of existing industrial assets and the technical development of European factories.

Requirements
* Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, industrial, electromechanical).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in similar engineering project management roles.
* Experience in Food & Beverage is a plus.
* Mastery of project management methodology.
* Experience digitalizing production processes and familiarity with SCADA, MES, and OEE activities.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma).
* Willingness to travel across Europe.
* Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
