You will be able to work across a broad spectrum of technical projects addressing pain points of our customers related to grid integration and grid code compliance. You will contribute amongst others to controller development, modelling, validation and grid integration studies, following structured product development processes from specification through to testing and release. You will work across the full spectrum - from specialized technical tasks to technical lead of product developments and support to business development activities and executive-level decision-taking. Your experience covers a broad range of topics related to grid integration of renewable and hybrid power plants and you can work on all levels, from diving into the low-level details of a design and testing of control code, developing new products/features through a stage-gated development process to supporting executive level decision taking. You are comfortable with executing work by yourself, with mentoring and giving guidance to others, as well as with taking the technical lead of projects. You have experience from a renewable energy project developer, operator or a utility, or from an original equipment manufacturer. You combine technical depth with the ability to address audiences from technical specialists to executive management and sales. You have a very good command of English, written and spoken. You have knowledge/experience in several of the following areas:

Grid code requirements for renewable power plants and grid connection compliance processes in relevant markets (e.g. EU, US, Australia)

Renewable energy hybrid plants (wind, PV, BESS, PtX) design, control and operation
\n
Power plant controller development (e.g. active power and frequency controllers, voltage controllers, POD) and test and validation in simulation and/or lab environments
\n
Wind turbine/inverter control (e.g. FRT/fast current injection, weak grid controls, grid forming) development and test and validation in simulation and/or lab environments
\n
Plant level and turbine modelling in RMS/EMT simulation tools (e.g. PSCAD, PowerFactory, PSS/E), including source code, lib/dll generation and integration in simulation software, parameter handling, version control (GIT) and software releases

Plant level grid and power system studies in RMS/EMT simulation tools (e.g. harmonics, transient stability, small signal stability)
\n
Stage-gated product development processes (e.g. specifications, gate reviews, testing)
