Technical Leader Digital Power
As part of the Schneider Electric Regional Support Platform (RSP) Bratislava, the Technical Leader Digital Power leads and approves the basic and detailed design of all EPMS technical aspects of a Digital Power integrated solution in line with customer and contract requirements. They ensure the project technical team delivers according to project planning, monitors technical costs and keeps the budget under control, and coordinates all technical activities at factories and site testing until project closure.

Responsibilities
* Act as the leader of the technical content of the project as the single point of contact regarding all project technical topics.
* Ensure customer technical requirements are fulfilled (performance, quality, costs, time), in compliance with contract and architecture specifications.
* Lead a technical team composed of Digital Application designers and coordinate all stakeholders.
* Lead all technical aspects of customer integrated projects within Execution: design, implementation, testing, FAT, SAT.
* Manage technical risks and interfaces among team stakeholders and obtain final customer approval of the overall technical solution.
* Support bids by providing system architectures, engineering hours estimation, technical risks and advice to optimize proposed solutions.
* Define all configuration information for the digital substation: device profiles, types, tasks, IO lists, alarms, etc.
* Define advanced reporting and dashboards.
* Reuse application design across different devices.
* Communicate effectively with technical teams in a multi‑country multicultural environment.
* Ensure system cyber security and compliance with IEC62443 4‑2 at SL2 level.
* Update the Project Lessons Learned database after each project.

Requirements
* Electrical/Electronics or communication engineering. Master’s level desirable.
* Minimum 7 years leading technical scope of projects.
* Knowledgeable on power system value chain and well‑versed with substation, switchgear components, Oil & Gas Solutions, Generator management, Fast Load shedding, Data Center solutions, Power & Grid solutions.
* Proficiency with all communication protocols: Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, IEC 61850, IEC‑101/104, ION, SNMP, DNP3, OPC, etc.
* Experience with Schneider product lines: EPAS system (C264, Profile Studio/HMI Studio, WebHMI, GEA, Eco‑GTW, EcoSui etc.), PSO/PME, Citect, SQL server, Historian environment. Experience with SEL-RTAC Data Concentrator, Protection Relays (ABB/SIEMENS) is an advantage.
* Hardware handling experience of electronic boards: Bay Control Unit – C264, Protection IED, RTU & PAC/PLC (M340, M580, M221 etc.).
* Competent in communication network design, configuration and commissioning, including latest standards: RSTP, MRP, PRP/HSR, Dual Homing. Knowledge of router, modem and firewall is an advantage.
* Capability to understand customer technical specifications and prepare functional design specifications based on SE offer, manage customer discussions and approvals.
* Strong communication skills to interact with foreign partners and customers throughout the project life cycle. International project execution experience is an advantage.
* Experience in at least two segments: Oil & Gas, Data Center, Smart Building, Utility, Transport.
* Ability to drive people in an intense environment such as site commissioning.
* Fluent communication skills in English (minimum B2 level) required.
* Fluency in another EU language (French, German, Spanish) is an advantage.
* Driving licence category B.
* EU passport is advantageous.
