What you'll do
The Mid-market Digital Sales Executive role empowers customers to achieve their full potential by strategically positioning SAP cloud solutions to address their unique business challenges and lay a strong foundation for future success.
Key aspects of the role include:
1. Account & Customer Relationship Management:
2. Manage sales of software licenses and cloud subscriptions, serving as the end-to-end account owner and establishing trusted relationships.
3. Develop and execute strategic account plans to ensure sustainable growth and meet or exceed revenue targets.
4. Understand each customer’s technology landscape, strategic goals, and competitive environment.
5. Demand Generation, Pipeline, and Opportunity Management:
6. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and leverage internal resources to drive demand and manage opportunities.
7. Utilize SAP’s solution portfolio to address customer needs effectively.
8. Identify market opportunities through analysis of industry events and customer profiling.
9. Plan and execute industry-specific campaigns and events in collaboration with SAP and partner marketing teams.
10. Sales Excellence:
11. Conduct White Space analysis for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
12. Coordinate teams to ensure successful sales outcomes, embodying the "OneSAP" approach.
13. Stay informed about competitors and position SAP solutions effectively.
14. Maintain accurate CRM data.
15. Leading a (Virtual) Account Team:
16. Lead remote and cross-functional teams to align with customer objectives.
17. Ensure team and partner readiness for customer interactions.
18. Maximize SAP’s sales support ecosystem.
What you bring
* 5+ years of experience in sales of business software or IT solutions.
* Proven ability to handle large transactions and long sales cycles in a competitive environment.
* Strong negotiation skills, especially in renewals, expansions, and upselling subscription solutions.
* Fluent in Business English and Italian (mandatory).
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
* Strategic and creative thinking abilities.
* Results-oriented with strong executive presence.
* Ability to work effectively across teams within a matrix organization.
