We are looking to hire an Executive Director, General Partner– Biopharma.
As the Executive Director, General Partner, you will be accountable for the strategic direction across assigned developing partnership accounts, working closely with a commercial Group Leader to focus on accelerating growth and expanding relationships with biopharmaceutical customers into strategic partnership accounts. This role will provide consultation, direction, and leadership to functional leads and employees to ensure commercial excellence, consistency, quality, innovation, and learning across the portfolio of work, including operational and financial targets. It serves as an important interface with the client and other internal departments regarding all aspects of the assigned partnership accounts.

What will you do :
* Relationship Management : Cultivate and expand deep relationships at the highest levels within the account, working in close coordination with your direct reports and other departments. Establish and grow customer loyalty and satisfaction, proactively engaging customers with insights on industry trends and potential challenges to position innovative solutions. Drive engagement between the Executive Sponsor and other senior executives within broader Thermo Fisher leadership to foster trust and confidence in CRG’s offerings, gaining business insights to accelerate expansion. Make connections and identify new account areas for potential footprint expansion. Build and strengthen client advocacy and engagement at the highest organizational levels. Establish robust stakeholder management across all business units.
* Account Ownership : Drive the team to achieve targets within the Clinical Development Services Division and all Clinical Research business units. Expand the existing commercial presence to grow the account into a strategic partner. Serve as the central point of contact for internal and external communication across all CRG functions. Proactively engage and coordinate with internal stakeholders (CRG, PSG, other groups), direct reports, and business partners (Finance, Legal, Sales, Operations, Governance) to meet operational, financial, and commercial goals. Coach the team, participate in proposals and bid defenses, and own partnership pursuit efforts. Develop and maintain an active account plan and demonstrate progress against strategies. Solicit feedback from stakeholders to share intelligence, best practices, and drive differentiation.
* Develops Growth Strategies : Identify key areas for strategic expansion within the account and drive proactive selling across all CRG and PSG business units. Collaborate with therapeutic leadership to develop and execute account growth strategies, emphasizing an enterprise-level view. Develop innovative commercial solutions (including constructs, incentives, operational models) and proactively present them to address challenges. Address financial, operational, relationship, and quality concerns aligned with customer needs, emphasizing TMO’s market differentiation. Build strong relationships with internal operational, commercial, and finance partners to execute plans. Prioritize revenue-generating opportunities to increase market penetration.
* Operational quality and efficiency : Collaborate effectively with direct reports and operational colleagues to ensure excellent operational delivery, exceeding milestones while maintaining quality. Coach Dev Ops and others to address challenges proactively and optimize operating models for efficiency. Drive account incumbency.
* Innovation : Use relationships to identify customer needs, informing innovation and investment strategies. Understand the client’s market position, needs, and landscape to influence internal innovation. Stay informed on industry trends to advise clients and challenge enterprise on client needs to promote innovation and process improvements.
* Team Management : Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing account team, fostering a collaborative, accountable environment focused on client advocacy and problem-solving. Provide oversight, coaching, and guidance to maximize performance, ensuring consistent achievement of sales goals and profit targets. Use Salesforce effectively and enforce administrative tasks.
How will you get here :
* A bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
* 15+ years of relevant experience, preferably in CRO, pharmaceutical, or medical device sales, with a strong track record in account management.
* Proven sales success with broad geographic responsibility and extensive account management experience. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.

* Success in a similar commercial leadership role with consistent achievement of targets.
* Robust clinical operations experience.
* Deep industry knowledge, including regulatory requirements and best practices in clinical trials. Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
