Location: Madrid/ Barcelona, Spain
Position: IT Systems Specialist
Responsabilities:
* Provide client & business support, acting as the technical point of contact for client integrations and provide expert input for public tenders and service proposals.
* Support on the technical integration of our different business units, managing services migrations and establishing unified institutional standards.
* Oversee the deployment and standardization of corporate hardware and software across all sites, according to our group policies.
* Provide remote and hands-on support for end-user hardware (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals), resolving helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and user accounts.
* Manage local device inventory.
* Provide support during the onboarding process.
* Manage and troubleshoot basic Local Area Network (LAN/Wi-Fi) issues, including connectivity problems, patching, and assisting with switch/router configurations.
* Support and maintain audio-visual (AV) equipment in meeting rooms
* Support and maintain access management.
* Create and update technical documentation and user guides for common issues and procedures.
* Manage incidents and requests related to the organization's IT systems, applications, and tools, as well as communication and equipment.
* Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IT-related projects, communicate status and updates to employees as part of a broader project team, and manage their IT needs.
Requirements:
* IT Education/Background (Higher Vocational Training or Degree in Systems Engineering / IT).
* Experience 3-5 years in a similar position and within the same industry (genetics or healthcare).
* Spanish and English (C1 level).
* Google Workspace, Global Protect, Verkada, Jira, Confluence, Okta, AWS, Active directory
