Product Governance & Regulatory Projects Analyst
Country: Spain –Santander Asset Manager, Boadilla del Monte office.
About the role
This position supports SAM Global Product Catalogue, product approval processes, and regulatory initiatives across local countries. The analyst will coordinate the documentation and data required for the Global Product Committee and manage relationships with internal teams and external parties.
Key responsibilities
* Support the local product development process and ensure a common framework across countries.
* Elaborate and maintain new product templates for initiatives.
* Coordinate the product approval process for all SAM countries, preparing materials for approval forums.
* Document and produce minutes of the Global Product Committee.
* Manage relationships with the Global team to address queries about products.
* Understand, monitor, and help implement regulatory changes (e.g., ESG, pricing review, assessment of value, retail investment strategy, SDR, TFCD) in collaboration with global and local stakeholders.
* Establish and keep effective relationships with third‑party providers such as external legal counsel, fund data providers, consultants, and managers.
Qualifications & experience
* 2+ years in financial industry, banking or asset management; experience with Luxembourg funds is preferred.
* Experience in product documentation and managing complex projects with tight deadlines.
* Track record of delivering new products and product changes in a large, cross‑functional environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical, operational, and regulatory information into clear terms.
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration or equivalent.
Skills & knowledge
* Knowledge of UCITS and AIFs.
* Understanding of product development lifecycle.
* Strong project management, analytical, leadership, and influencing skills.
* Team player with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
* Ability to instill structure, process, accountability, delivery and client focus.
Languages
* English – Fluent.
* Spanish – Fluent.
