Our client a Polish leading manufacturer of high-quality natural cosmetics with over 30 years of experience and a presence in over 60 countries, known for its innovation and dynamic growth in the skincare sector. As part of their continued expansion, we are pleased to be looking for a National Sales Manager on their behalf, to drive strategic sales initiatives and further strengthen their market position in Spain.
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Business Development, their responsibilities will be:
Responsible for developing sales of company brands in the Spain market, in both traditional (offline) and modern (retail and e-commerce) channels.
Introducing new cosmetic brands to major drugstore, pharmacy and supermarket chains.
Building and maintaining relationships with key buyers and distribution partners.
Create and implement market entry and sales strategies that are tailored to local specifics and consumer expectations.
Negotiate commercial terms with networks and local partners.
Collaborating with the marketing and trade marketing teams to plan and execute sales support activities (e.g. promotions, displays and POS campaigns).
Monitor sales performance, analyze market data and report to headquarters.
Work closely with distributors and/or develop your own distribution model in the country.
Build and manage a local sales team.
Requirements :
Minimum of five years' experience in the cosmetics industry in the Spain market, including several years in a sales management position.
Demonstrated success in introducing cosmetic brands (ideally foreign) to retail and parapharmacy chains in Spain.
Excellent knowledge of the cosmetics market in the country, including both drugstore and dermocosmetic products.
An extensive network of contacts among buyers and decision-makers at major retail chains.
Understanding of local regulations and requirements related to cosmetics registration and sales.
Ability to work both strategically and operationally.
High level of self-reliance, initiative, and goal- and result-orientation.
Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
Experience of working for international cosmetics or distribution companies.
Knowledge of e-commerce and collaboration with local platforms.
Ability to create local sales budgets and forecasts.
Representing the brand at local industry events (trade shows and conferences).
