Responsibilities
* Have a good understanding of the outlet’s concept and food and beverage offerings and be able to verbally explain those to guests.
* Ensure that mise en place is completed shift to shift and during service to provide efficient service, including cleaning tasks in front and back of house, polishing, and assembling equipment.
* Operate the required steps on the point of sales system to process food and beverage orders.
* Properly up-sell services and products to guests to enhance service and generate revenue.
* Perform billing tasks according to hotel standards and cashiering policies.
* Maintain all outlet equipment and utensils in good condition through proper handling and by carrying out side duties as assigned.
* Assist in stock management, including linen, beverages, dried goods, and other supplies.
* Perform any other tasks as assigned by the restaurant manager.
* Create WOW moments to surprise and delight guests through gestures and actions.
Requirements
* Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management is preferred.
* Experience as a server in a high-volume restaurant with high service standards is preferred.
* Ability to understand guest needs and deliver superior customer service.
* Basic computer skills, including MS Office, are preferred.
* Effective communication skills tailored to different individuals.
