Water Engineer – Industrial Projects (Metals & Minerals)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Water Engineer to join our team and support industrial projects in the metals and minerals sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the hydraulic modeling, design, and analysis of water supply, distribution, and wastewater systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hydraulic modeling of water supply networks and pressurized distribution systems.
Model sewer and urban drainage networks and perform flood risk and inundation studies.
Design processes for wastewater treatment plants (WWTP/EDAR) and drinking water treatment plants (WTP/ETAP).
Perform hydraulic sizing of pumping stations and design of storage tanks.
Calculate hydraulic transients and support engineering studies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with technical and safety standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Hydraulic Engineering.
Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial water engineering, preferably in metals or minerals projects.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic modeling tools and methodologies.
Proficiency in Spanish (native) and intermediate English.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
