The SSHE Coordinator will serve as the primary contact for all Security, Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) matters within the Go to Market segment of Spain, Italy, France, and Iberia. This role oversees the Distribution Centre, Refrigerated Vans, and office environments across these countries. The SSHE Coordinator will lead and support the SSHE agenda, focusing on achieving Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents in Environment, with a key emphasis on Road Safety.
Key Responsibilities :
1. SSHE Point of Contact: Act as the main SSHE representative for Distribution Centres, Refrigerated Vans, and Office locations in the region.
2. SSHE Agenda: Drive the SSHE agenda, ensuring alignment with the company's goals of Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents in Environment.
3. Maintain the SHE system to ensure compliance with company, industry, and legislative requirements.
4. Develop, track, and assist in completing SHE improvement plans.
5. Manage daily SHE activities, including risk assessments, action management, and reporting.
6. Conduct SHE audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement areas.
7. Complete SHE reporting and analyze data to monitor SHE indicators.
8. Provide support, advice, and coaching to management and leadership on SHE practices.
9. Road Safety: Implement and monitor initiatives to ensure transportation safety.
10. Distribution Centre Safety: Ensure safety measures and safety of the refrigeration system and personnel.
11. Office Safety: Implement safety guidelines in offices and ensure safety assessments for events.
12. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all SSHE regulations, standards, and policies.
13. Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver SHE training programs.
14. Incident Management: Lead investigations and reporting of SSHE incidents.
15. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives to enhance SSHE performance.
Qualifications / Experience & Skills :
1. Cert IV in OH&S or higher qualification in a related field.
2. Return to Work qualifications and experience.
3. Strong knowledge of legislation.
4. Excellent computer and literacy skills.
5. Minimum of 5-7 years of SSHE experience, preferably in supply chain or logistics.
6. Strong knowledge of SSHE regulations and practices, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
7. Relevant SSHE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
8. Growth mindset: ambitious, capable of driving safety culture change and continuous improvement.
9. Customer focus: prioritize safety for internal and external customers.
10. Bias for action: proactive decision-making.
11. Accountability: deliver KPIs and meet expectations.
12. Leadership: lead by example, coach, and support team development.
