The BESS Delivery & Service Manager / Engineer (C&I) is responsible for the successful delivery, commissioning, and lifecycle support of Commercial & Industrial Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects after the project is secured by the sales and presales teams. This role takes full ownership of the project from contract handover through installation, commissioning, and after-sales service, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and according to technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Project Handover & Planning
Take over BESS projects from the sales and presales teams after contract signing.
Review technical proposals, system configurations, and commercial scope.
Develop project execution plans including timelines, resource planning, and site coordination.
Confirm system design and project requirements with internal teams and customers.
Project Delivery & Implementation
Manage the end-to-end delivery of C&I BESS projects.
Coordinate with EPC partners, installers, and subcontractors for system installation.
Ensure project milestones are achieved according to schedule and budget.
Monitor site work and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Manage equipment logistics, delivery, and installation activities.
Commissioning & System Integration
Lead or support BESS commissioning activities, including:
System functional testing
EMS / PCS / BMS integration
Grid connection and verification
Work with engineering teams to resolve technical issues during commissioning.
Ensure the system operates according to performance specifications.
Customer Support & After-Sales Service
Provide technical support and service coordination after project commissioning.
Manage maintenance schedules and service activities. xpzdshu
