The Role
The Academic Coordinator plays a key role in the delivery and continuous improvement of academic programmes. This position ensures excellence in programme execution, faculty coordination, and student experience, aligning operations with the highest standards of international fashion education.
Reporting directly to the Deputy Director and Director, the role combines academic coordination, operational management and stakeholder engagement within a dynamic, creative environment.
Key Resposibilities
Academic Operations
· Coordinate the day-to-day running of academic programmes (on-site and online)
· Develop and manage class schedules, ensuring efficient faculty allocation
· Monitor programme delivery to ensure consistency and academic quality
Faculty & Student Management
· Act as the main point of contact for students and faculty
· Coordinate faculty communication, availability and requirements
· Support student experience, engagement and academic progression
Content & Quality Assurance
· Review and update academic content in collaboration with faculty
· Analyse student feedback and performance data to identify improvement opportunities
· Propose and implement actions to enhance academic excellence
Digital & Learning Platforms
· Manage virtual learning environments (LMS), ensuring smooth communication and content delivery
· Support digital learning experiences and hybrid programme formats
Operations & Events
· Oversee logistical and technological aspects of programme delivery
· Support Open Days, masterclasses and academic events
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes

Ideal Profile
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive academic professional with a passion for fashion education and student experience.
Experience & Background
· 3–5 years’ experience in academic coordination or programme management within higher education
· Experience in fashion education or related creative industries is highly valued
· Proven experience working with faculty and managing academic programmes
Skills & Competencies
· Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Spanish & English)
· High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
Requirements (Mandatory)
· Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
· Experience in a similar role within higher education
· Fashion studies/ experience in related industry/ fashion sensibility
· Experience coordinating courses or academic programmes
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning platforms (LMS)
· Fluent in written and spoken English (level B2 or higher, certified, or equivalent)
· Excellent organisational and time-management skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Additional Information
· Location: Madrid (on-site)
· Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 (flexible depending on academic needs)
