Remote Support Engineer, Healthcare Software
Job Description
Help Philips make an impact with care by finding and establishing solutions for healthcare software, enabling clinicians to provide the best care for patients.
Your role:
1. This role supports our Emergency Medical Record (ICCA) and Care Management Software used in A&E & ICU departments.
2. As a Remote Support Engineer, you will act as 1st line support by qualifying customer calls, finding technical resolutions to application problems (including writing scripts & queries), and escalating to 2nd / 3rd line support when needed.
3. You will ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service, regular and timely communication, prioritization of calls and tasks, and product training.
4. You will provide quality documentation & reporting and share your subject matter knowledge to support your colleagues.
5. This role offers the opportunity to work from home.
You’re right for this role if:
1. You have a technical background with experience in Application/Software Support, ideally within the healthcare industry, or a willingness to learn clinical solutions.
2. You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, medical informatics, or an equivalent field.
3. Your technical skills include:
* Windows Server
* SQL Server 2012+ with the ability to run queries
* Networking
* Ideally, knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and understanding of Clinical/Hospital Patient Workflow
* Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Reliability, commitment, a confident demeanor, and strong teamwork abilities across departments
* Fluency in Spanish and English
