About the Internship
This internship supports the Communications Team in DID. Interns will learn about UNICEF's programmes, operate in an international environment, and develop analytical and transactional skills through engaging projects.
Responsibilities
Research, interview, write, edit, and prepare content for internal and external communications.
Assist with simple video filming and editing, social media monitoring, and drafting posts and articles.
Participate in event organization and other communications tasks as required.
Qualifications
Current or recent university student in Communication, Media, or related field; graduated within the last two years.
Availability to work 40 hours per week in Valencia, Spain or remotely.
Fluency in English; Spanish knowledge is an asset.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with InDesign, Photoshop, and basic video editing preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
Excellent listening, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
Flexibility to handle multiple assignments and adapt to changing demands.

Contract Duration and Terms
Internship lasts six months; interns must fund travel and living expenses in Valencia if onsite.
Interns provide proof of medical insurance covering the duration of the internship.
Interns are responsible for obtaining any required visa or residence permit and covering associated costs.
Monthly stipend of 800 EUR for full‐time arrangements, prorated for attendance; adjustments may apply for remote work.
Interns may take up to 2.5 days off per month; stipend is reduced for absences beyond this quota.
