Our Intercruises Teams are looking for staff to work as part of our ground operation in the field of tourism and customer service, specifically in the cruise sector in the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Gran Canaria airport.
(This will require Meet & Greet, Check-in, assistance in transfers, amongst other functions).
Basic knowledge of English (Mandatory) & German is required, and you must be available from September 2025 the end of May 2026 including weekends and bank holidays.
The employee will be able to work according to his / her availability.
The contract type is Fijo discontinuo.
Paid rest and vacation days are generated based on the number of days worked and paid at the end of the season.
Nocturnal working between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. means you will receive night hour pay.
Trial period: 2 months.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Working in a team and under supervision of an Intercruises employee, you will be responsible for ensuring the smoothness of arrival and departure for our cruise passengers at the port.
During the boarding and landing procedures your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Meet & greet passengers
- Check-in: Verification of documents (passport, tickets, etc.), data entry
- Support, guide and assist passengers to ensure the smooth running of their transfers
- Support the luggage handling
- Provide excellent customer service & answer to questions
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Previous experience in tourism and/or customer service is highly valued
- Good level of languages is needed and a basic level of English is Mandatory. We will need German and any other language will always be of advantage. (e. g. French, Spanish, Italian).
