We are seeking an experienced Beverage Director to create and manage our beverage program.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the beverage program for the restaurant and banquets & catering departments.
* Serve as the leader on the floor, engaging with guests and teammates to promote beverage awareness and sales.
* Cultivate a following of regulars and stay aware of market trends.
* Ensure total guest satisfaction and provide the highest level of food and beverage service.
* Manage FOH F&B (events included) staffing responsibilities and work with the F&B + AF&B Directors to post positions and schedule interviews.
* Approve hires for bar positions in conjunction with the F&B + AF&B Directors and assist new hires with completion of hiring paperwork.
* Create and administer property alcohol policies within 21c, state, and municipality guidelines.
Beverage Procurement, Inventory, and Financial Responsibilities
* Responsible for all alcoholic beverage procurement, inventory management, and systems, and beverage general ledger and profit & loss beverage statement management.
* Work with the 21c F&B Operations team to incorporate and maintain compliance to all 21c and Ennismore brand partnerships.
Marketing
* Work with the Brand/Marketing Team to develop and provide content through various media channels regarding the beverage program.
* Concept, curate, plan, and execute specialty beverage and culinary events.
Operations & Admin
* Curate, manage, and maintain all beverage menus.
* Lead in the development, maintenance, and evolution of the beverage programming and brand integrity.
* Select and maintain beverage glassware, tools, and equipment.
* Consult and assist on beverage-related options in hotel operations as needed.
* Assume and execute all the responsibilities of the restaurant manager position.
Requirements
* Some college education required.
* Two to four years of experience in high volume, high quality restaurant operation.
* Minimum one year of management/supervisory experience.
* Advanced knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and NA beverages.
* Competent with Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office.
* Demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c.
* Must pass a background check.
