The role of a Solution Specialist
The Solution Specialist provides essential technical, functional, and design support throughout the entire sales cycle to enhance customer success, account growth, and retention. This role is instrumental in collaborating with the Partner Development Circle to close business and ensure the successful integration of TX products. With refined interpersonal and verbal communication skills and a deep understanding of technical sales and partner enablement, the Solution Specialist empowers partners by enhancing their technical capabilities and helping them become successful TimeXtender ambassadors and resellers.
This role involves leading all aspects of requirements and solutions integration, with a focus on enabling partners through education, training, and support, to facilitate seamless implementations and to the extent possible that partners can independently sell and implement the TimeXtender solutions.
This role is remote and you must be located and authorised to work in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, United Kingdom, Ireland, or United States!
Your skills and chunks of work :
Technical Sales Leadership :
* Collaborate with Partner Development Managers (PDMs) to sell TX products through technical demonstrations and other revenue-generating activities.
* Deliver and support pre-sales workshops and technical sales presentations in close cooperation with partners. Provide training and enablement sessions for internal teams, partners, and customers on product features, use cases, and best practices to drive adoption and success.
Partner Technical Enablement :
1. Provide ongoing technical training and support to TimeXtender partners, ensuring they are equipped to effectively sell and demo TimeXtender products.
2. Facilitate the development of partners’ technical skills and knowledge, enhancing their ability to deliver and support TimeXtender Data Estates.
3. Assist partners through the certification process and ensure they meet the technical / pre-sales standards required for TimeXtender demonstrations and implementations.
Solution Customisation and Implementation :
4. Understand the needs and requirements of Partners and Customers to design and propose tailored solutions to meet specific customer needs during the pre-sales phase.
5. Prepare POC based on customer requirements to be presented and used for commercial requirements.
6. Guide partners and customers through seamless implementations post-sale in partnership with Partner Sales and Customer Success Circles. Make an impact by optimising business processes for our users.
Technical Account Management :
7. Serve as the main technical point of contact for a portfolio of Partners, overseeing account health and satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
8. Work closely with PDMs to monitor partner progress, identify growth opportunities, and ensure the achievement of shared objectives.
Market Outreach & Content Development :
9. Leveraging your technical knowledge and experience, write and present at various forums educating the market on the advantages of our products.
10. Drive creation, alignment, and customisation of partner enablement content and mechanisms with key stakeholders including Product & Lead Marketing and PDMs.
11. Own and continuously update training, workshop, demo, and technical sales content, ensuring materials are current, effective, and aligned with TimeXtender’s strategic goals.
12. Maintain and manage technical resources required for demonstrations and training sessions, including managing software environments and cloud resources.
Renewals and Expansion : Proactively work with PDMs to secure renewals and identify upsell opportunities to expand account value.
Feedback Loop : Act as the voice of the customer within TX, providing feedback to product design and engineering circles to guide future product enhancements and innovations.
Customer Consulting Engagement Input : Co-ordinate with Xpert Service circle to ensure the delivery and execution of consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with customer goals.
What we’re looking for :
13. 4-8 years of experience with data engineering (data modelling / data warehousing)
14. Proficiency in various technologies, such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, Power BI, Snowflake, and AWS.
15. A strong grasp of enterprise business applications (ERP / CRM), IoT and related processes.
16. Someone who thrives in performing product demonstrations, workshops and training for large groups.
17. A genuine desire to support, coach and cultivate positive relationships with customers and partners.
18. Creativity in solving complex business challenges with innovative data solutions.
19. A self-driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional time management skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
