The Key Account Manager for an important Food customer and Regional Mgr E. Europe develops and executes the strategy together with the Business Director and is accountable for continued profitable share growth.

* Ensure customer quality and service expectations are consistently met; eliminate or reduce customer complaints.
* Help the organisation to achieve or exceed sales and profitability goals.
* Grow opportunity account sales.

Support business teams to achieve commercial and product line targets aligned with the strategies of the business units. These activities include new business targets, price increases, consignment / call-off inventory control and reduction. The role requires close collaboration with other team members to achieve these goals.

Manage and grow the account, coordinating sales and technical projects.

Manage and grow sales in E. Europe (mainly Poland, Hungary, Czechia, Ukraine).

Coordinate with Customer Technical Service team for technical support during line trials and customer support.

Develop and implement a sales plan in conjunction with supervisor and business teams.

Create strategies to target specific customers and product categories needing focused attention, in collaboration with the supervisor.

Responsible for compiling monthly sales and market reports.

Communicate competitive information, new products, and sales issues to the supervisor.

Share extended product knowledge in Packaging technology.

Attend coatings seminars and trade shows.

Manage product trials at customer facilities.

Support the approval process for national account specifications.

Maintain contact with laboratories regarding current technical issues.

Assist with equipment installations and modifications.

Conduct technical training seminars at customer facilities.

Manage product complaints, coordinating communication between Technical teams and customers to resolve issues.

Inform customers about product line changes and improvements.

Maintain expertise in product finishes, equipment use, and surface preparation.

Assist customers with inventory control and re-ordering.

Train customers on product knowledge and application methods.

Keep records of customer technical issues for follow-up.

Gather reliable customer and territory information and estimate potential.

Assess each customer’s position in the sales process and identify steps to accelerate it.

Require 3-5 years of commercial experience in Packaging Coating.

Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong asset.

Experience in Project Management and Key Account Management preferred.

Willingness to travel up to 75%.
