Responsibilities
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. You will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes. Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role may include assisting with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support while expanding their social networks and connections.
Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.
The people we support have varied interests and dreams. A career with Enable is rewarding and diverse; Personal Assistants at their best have the potential to bring out the best in the people we support.
Let us introduce you to Nancy. Nancy loves listening to 60s and 70s music and enjoys getting out in the local area. A typical day might include her weekly shopping, attending a local karaoke club, or spending time at home with music and TV. Nancy lives in her own home and receives support 7 days a week between 7:30am and 9:30pm, maintains good relationships with neighbours and friends, and benefits from dedicated support to enjoy everyday activities.
That is why Nancy needs you! Will you bring your best so that Nancy can live her best life?
About You
If you share the same values and have the commitment, dedication, and desire to support Nancy to get the most out of life, please apply now. Enable values diversity and equal opportunities, and we recruit based on values and transferable skills.
