Job Description

We are looking for an Excursions Manager to join our team in Tenerife. This is a key role responsible for managing and optimizing the excursions department and activity program, ensuring operational and commercial excellence while delivering outstanding experiences to our customers. If you have strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for excursions and tourist activities, we would love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the excursions team, ensuring smooth operations and high service standards.
Develop the excursion program for Tenerife, aligned with the company's strategy and market trends.
Negotiate and contract new products and partnerships with activity and excursion providers.
Achieve the department's commercial goals.
Monitor and optimize booking processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Oversee financial processes, including sales settlements, invoices, and validation of supplier invoices.
Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Manage incidents and resolve escalations, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Collaborate with company management to define pricing strategies, promotional plans, and any other responsibilities expected from the head of the department at the destination.
Carry out any additional tasks necessary to adapt to customer needs and/or market conditions at any given time.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in excursions management or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
Studies in Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
High level of English; additional languages are a plus.
In‑depth knowledge of excursions and activities in Tenerife and a solid network of local providers.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage budgets, KPIs, action plans, etc.
