Role Summary: Providing technical support to Field Engineers for all on-the-day activities, Ericsson Nodes 2G/3G/4G/5G integrations of new BB and various upgrades of existing sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing remote configuration expansions as well as new site integrations of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G for Ericsson sites.
* Generating scripts and validating them for integration.
* Having experience in Ericsson BB6630 / BB6648 / RP6631 / RP 6651 integration & troubleshooting.
* Configuration of RU/RRU/AIR Radios.
* Experience with DUW / DUG / DUS / DUL.
* Experience in Swap activities, Carrier addition, sector addition, Technology addition, and Site Modernization.
* Configuration of Mixed Mode Radios, GPS, ENDC.
* Communication and synchronization between Back-office and Field Force, assisting in troubleshooting installation/integration problems.
* Configurations of External Alarms, RET, Neighbor.
* Coordinating with field engineers for Integration & Troubleshooting.
* Support to Field Engineers for External Alarms, Acceptance Tests, RET Troubleshooting, call tests.
* Cell & Parameter configurations in BSC/RNC.
* Software and License Upgrades through ENM.
* Performing Configuration, Performance & Fault Management.
* Coordinating with multiple stakeholders to resolve TXN and RF issues.
* Collaborating with Planning & Design teams to resolve design-related issues.
Tools & Systems Knowledge: Ericsson ENM, Winfiol/Secure CRT, WinSCP, Putty.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in Telecommunications Engineering, with managerial/supervisor knowledge.
* Graduation in Telecommunications/Electronics.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite.
* Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. French is a plus.
