Role Description
We are seeking several part-time Dependiente de Tienda to join our team at the farmer's markets in Adeje & Las Chafiras to work on a rotating roster.
This role involves assisting customers with product selection, ensuring exceptional customer service, handling sales transactions, restocking inventory, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store.
The candidate will also have the opportunity to share product knowledge and educate customers about our award-winning cheeses and their unique qualities.
Applicants must be based in Tenerife with legal documents for employment as well as have a car.
Qualifications
Customer service and communication skills to provide an exceptional shopping experience
Sales and product knowledge, with the ability to recommend and promote products
Organizational skills and attention to detail for inventory management and store upkeep
Basic math and cash handling skills for managing transactions accurately
An energetic and proactive attitude with a genuine passion for food and cheeses
Basic knowledge of or willingness to learn about cheese varieties and their production
Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment
Fluency in Spanish required; additional language skills, such as English, are a plus
Prior retail or food service experience is highly desirable.
Hours
Saturday & Sunday from 6am to 2pm.
