Business Development Manager – Telehealth/ Virtual Care

We’re partnered with a fast-growing Telehealth company based in Barcelona that is redefining how care is delivered across Spain. Their mission is to provide accessible, high-quality virtual care solutions to employers, insurers, and healthcare providers – improving patient outcomes while reducing strain on traditional systems. With a strong clinical foundation and a rapidly expanding commercial footprint, they are now looking to scale their commercial team.
The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in accelerating growth across the Spanish market. You'll be responsible for driving new business and managing key relationships with:
Employers offering digital health benefits
Private health insurers seeking virtual care solutions
Hospitals and clinics exploring hybrid care models
This is a full-cycle sales role – from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing – working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and medical teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting employers, insurers, and providers
Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
Present product demos and commercial proposals to C-level stakeholders
Negotiate contract terms and close new partnerships
Maintain accurate records in CRM and report on KPIs
Act as the voice of the customer, feeding insights back to product & leadership
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in telehealth, digital health or Health SaaS
Strong network or understanding of Spanish healthcare and employer benefits landscape
Native-level Spanish, strong written and verbal English
Track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
Consultative selling style and ability to influence senior decision-makers
Passion for digital health and improving healthcare access
