About the Job
As our Global Procurement Operations & Strategy Manager, you will lead the design, deployment, and global implementation of our new SourcetoPay (StP) platform.
This highly influential role will partner with regional teams, IT, Finance, and a third party system integrator to harmonize procurement processes, standardize master data, and ensure successful adoption across the organization.
You will shape the future of Quaker Houghton’s procurement operations by driving process optimization, ensuring the right system configuration, and championing change management across all regions.

What will you do?
* Assess current procurement processes and systems across all regions to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for standardization.
* Define global procurement processes and master data standards, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to develop functional and technical requirements for the StP/P2P platform.
System Implementation & Configuration
* Partner with a third party system integrator to configure the StP/P2P platform according to agreed specifications.
* Oversee system design workshops, configuration reviews, and integration with existing ERP and financial systems.
* Ensure compliance with global procurement policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements during system setup.
Testing & Quality Assurance
* Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Identify and resolve system issues in collaboration with the integrator and internal IT teams.
* Validate master data migration and ensure system accuracy before go‑live.
Training & Change Management
* Lead global change management initiatives to drive adoption of the new StP platform.
* Develop training materials and deliver sessions for internal employees and external suppliers.
* Act as a key point of contact for stakeholder communication, ensuring transparency and engagement throughout the rollout.
* Establish governance and support structures for ongoing system maintenance and enhancements.
* Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
* Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to optimize procurement processes.
What are we looking for?
* Experience
o Minimum 8+ years in procurement, supply chain, or systems implementation roles.
o Proven track record of leading or supporting global StP or P2P system deployments.
o Experience collaborating with system integrators and working with platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, or Oracle.
* Education
o min. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Skills
o Deep understanding of StP processes, procurement policies, and compliance requirements.
o Knowledge of system configuration, data migration, and system integration principles.
o Strong project leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
o Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to influence across regions and functions.
o Analytical, structured, and problem‑solving mindset.
o Ability to lead in a global, cross functional environment.
o Languages: English at a professional level is a must.
Location
Based in Spain, with the ability to travel to the US and within Europe when required.
