Position: Technical Sales Representative
The role involves growing sales in the Catalonia region by promoting company products and advising clients on the best product mix. This includes managing existing clients and acquiring new clients within the target market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage the complete sales process, including consulting, promotion, and sale of products and services. Support customers during pre sales, respond to inquiries, and maintain trust in after sales.
2. Research and analyze leads in cooperation with the local team. Focus on retaining existing customers and achieving individual and corporate objectives.
3. Plan regular visit schedules aligning company strategies with customer needs. Prepare reports with market information, business opportunities, and work history for the Sales Manager.
4. Manage specific end customers and forklift dealers within the sales area, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
5. Follow customers from product presentation to developing commercial proposals. Promote product updates and participate in training activities. Stay informed about order flow, production, and delivery issues.
6. Coordinate with Inside Sales by forwarding orders and issuing technical and commercial instructions. Communicate provisions for preparing offers, including commercial conditions and price lists.
7. Apply company Sales Policies as directed by the Manager.
8. Collaborate with the Service department to resolve technical issues. Provide technical advice as a battery expert.
9. Verify customer payment reliability, following Credit Office recommendations.
10. Use sales programs like Salesforce effectively.
11. Travel within Catalonia and occasionally elsewhere in Spain or abroad, including overnight stays.
Qualifications
* Professional Formation or Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably in industrial electrical or electronics.
* Native Spanish and very good English skills; Catalan is a plus.
* Over 5 years of experience in sales of industrial electrical devices, batteries, UPSs, or similar products. Knowledge of the forklift or batteries market is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Office 365 and Salesforce is valued.
* Valid drivers license.
