The role involves advanced technical skills, proactive monitoring, and ensuring system reliability and performance. /p pb Key Responsibilities /b /pulli Install, configure, administer, and maintain storage arrays. /lili Manage SAN/NAS storage devices, SAN switches, and replication processes. /lili Perform LUN/volume provisioning, reclamation, performance monitoring, and tuning. /lili Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, apply patches, and execute upgrades. /lili Monitor storage systems, handle alerts, and ensure timely notifications. /lili Manage SAN fabric switches (Cisco/Brocade), including zoning, VSANs, FC-IP, ISL setup, and zone segmentation. /lili Work with protocols such as SAN, NAS, FC, FCoE, NFS, and CIFS. /lili Conduct capacity planning, reporting, and forecasting. /lili Utilize CLI for storage systems and switches. /lili Implement multipathing technologies and policies. /lili Analyze storage array performance and optimize configurations. /lili Administer environments supporting Windows, Linux, Solaris, and VMware. /lili Resolve complex hardware cases and coordinate with vendors. /lili Prioritize tickets based on severity, urgency, and impact. /lili Follow ITIL best practices and proactively monitor for issues or improvement opportunities. /lili Participate in 24x7 support and on-call rotation. /lili Identify risks and propose solutions for escalated issues. /lili Plan and execute maintenance and updates. /li /ul pb Required Skills Experience /b /pullib Experience: /b 3–6 years in enterprise storage administration. /lili Hands-on experience with storage products: HP 3PAR, Primera, NetApp (C-mode/7-mode). /lili Strong knowledge of SAN/NAS architecture and related protocols. /lili Proficiency in CLI for storage and switch management. /lili Familiarity with multipathing technologies and performance analysis. /lili Experience in multi-OS environments (Windows, Linux, Solaris) and VMware. /lili Solid troubleshooting and incident management skills. /lili Ability to work in critical environments and manage escalations. /lili English level: b B2 /b /li /ul
