Contractor Senior CRA Oncology – Spain
We are hiring a senior contractor Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support an ongoing late‑stage oncology observational study with clinical sites across Spain.
This is suitable for experienced oncology CRAs looking for a focused engagement with 20 hours per week and potential continuity beyond the initial assignment.
Engagement details
* Contract type: Contractor
* Allocation: 20 hours per week
* Initial duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
* Location: Spain (local site coverage)
Experience required
* Strong senior oncology monitoring background
* Proven experience monitoring late‑stage Phase III oncology drug studies
* Hands‑on experience with RECIST and iRECIST evaluations, including progression and response assessments
* Direct experience in lung, colorectal, and breast cancer studies
* Clear understanding of the oncology patient journey across multiple lines of therapy
Key responsibilities
* End‑to‑end patient monitoring beyond limited SDV activities
* Support data clean‑up and rescue monitoring activities
* Close collaboration with sites to ensure high‑quality and timely data entry
* Review and follow‑up of imaging, scans, and longitudinal oncology data
* Active support of progression and survival endpoint collection
Study context
* Observational oncology study aligned with standard of care
* Long‑term patient follow‑up and repeated visits per patient
* High‑volume and complex oncology datasets
* Strong need for proactive site engagement rather than procedure enforcement
Profile sought
* Senior, autonomous CRA with minimal supervision needs
* Self‑starter, not requiring training on monitoring fundamentals
* Comfortable with traditional, full‑scope monitoring approaches
* Pragmatic, solution‑oriented, and confident working closely with sites
Location
* Based in Spain, with availability to support local Spanish clinical sites (13 sites across the country)
