Position Summary

Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys. Handle various payment types including room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Manage check-outs by resolving late and disputed charges. Address guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping to prepare rooms for check-in. Provide parking instructions and dispatch bell or valet staff as needed. Offer guests directions and local area information. Run daily reports on arrivals and departures, identify special requests, and verify report accuracy. Complete cashier and closing reports in the system. Cash personal and traveler's checks, and manage bank counts at shift start and end. Balance and deposit receipts according to accounting standards.

Follow all safety, security, and company policies; ensure professional appearance; maintain confidentiality and protect assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation. Communicate professionally, answer phones courteously, develop positive relationships, and adhere to quality standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift objects up to 10 pounds; perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

* High school diploma or G.E.D.
* No prior work experience required.
* No supervisory experience required.
* No certifications needed.
