Technology Engineer, Power Electronics

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Technology Engineer, Power Electronics to play a pivotal role in advancing the development, execution, and optimization of our technical services in the power electronics field. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge solutions, conduct advanced technology studies, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet industry standards. As a key technical expert, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support service innovation, maintain service quality, and provide after-sales technical support to our clients.

Position Overview

As our Technology Engineer, Power Electronics, you will serve as a key technical expert in the development and delivery of services related to power electronics. You will support the design and refinement of innovative technical solutions, ensure efficient and effective delivery of services, integrating power electronics technologies into client solutions. This position offers you the opportunity to work on advanced technology projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and drive technical excellence in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform technology reviews, risk assessments, and product evaluations related to power electronics, including audits, inspections, conformity assessments, field testing, and technical due diligence.
* Prepare detailed technology reports, roadmaps, and market insights to support internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strategic value.
* Deliver on-site projects, applying power electronics technology and standards while collaborating with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and ensure compliance.
* Perform comprehensive field testing of power electronics systems, ensuring functionality, performance, and compliance while recommending improvements and optimizations.
* Provide expert insights during the design and improvement of new services, ensuring alignment with emerging technology trends, client requirements, and industry best practices.
* Contribute to the ideation, conceptualization, and implementation of service innovations leveraging advanced power electronics technologies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional service lines to create cutting-edge technical solutions, including the development of manufacturing and technology guidelines for power electronics.
* Deliver specialized training on power electronics for internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to enhance knowledge and technical capacity.
* Ensure all services are delivered on time and comply with industry and quality standards.
* Act as a technical resource for clients, addressing post-delivery queries, resolving issues promptly, and offering guidance on power electronics technologies to build long-term client relationships.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Engineering or Renewable Energy.
* Professional certification in Renewable Energy or Sustainability (e.g. SREC, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Renewable Energy Professional (REP)).
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in the renewables sector, with at least 5 years in solar or energy storage technologies.
* Proven experience in customer-facing roles, fostering strong client relationships and driving engagement.
* Deep expertise in power electronics technologies, including design, manufacturing, and application in renewable energy systems.
* Advanced knowledge of inverters, transformers, and other power electronics equipment, including systems design and compliance with industry standards.
* Proficiency in technology benchmarking, roadmap creation, and product development.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Expertise in preparing technical documentation and delivering technical support to clients.
* Familiarity with quality assurance frameworks and service execution processes in the renewable energy industry.
* A proactive mind-set with a focus on continuous learning and staying ahead of emerging trends in renewable technologies.
