Job DescriptionSO/ Sotogrande, a luxury hotel in the beautiful coastal town of Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and motivating our restaurant staff.Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high customer satisfactionLead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to maintain SO/ Sotogrande's high standards of serviceManage staff scheduling, assignments, and performance evaluationsEnsure compliance with food safety and hygiene standardsHandle customer inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues promptly and professionallyCollaborate with the kitchen team to maintain menu knowledge and assist with food and wine pairingsManage inventory, place orders, and control costs while maintaining qualityImplement and maintain SO/ Sotogrande's luxury hospitality standardsAssist in organizing and executing special events and promotionsMonitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant area
QualificationsMinimum 2-3 years of experience in restaurant supervision or management, preferably in luxury dining establishmentsProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectivelyExcellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiencesStrong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairingProficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and inventory management toolsSolid understanding of food safety and hygiene standardsExcellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysFluency in English and Spanish;
additional languages are a plusHigh school diploma required;
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferredFood Safety Certification (e.G., ServSafe) requiredKnowledge of Spanish and international cuisineFamiliarity with luxury hospitality standards and practicesStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAdaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
