We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Business Development division and help us improve people's lives. As a member of the Sacyr Concesiones development team, the Assistant Project Manager – Project Development ("APM") will assist with the P3 bidding process from a developer / equity investor perspective on social and transportation projects across various regions.
Duties and Responsibilities :
* Assist with coordinating and managing the P3 bidding processes from start to finish.
* Negotiate equity teaming and project bidding agreements.
* Manage engagement with developer and lender advisors.
* Prepare RFQ submissions.
* Develop and implement project-specific bid management plans.
* Create and track project schedules and milestones.
* Coordinate bid deliverables with project management teams, covering finance, design, construction, operations, and rehabilitation.
* Work with legal team on contractual negotiations related to DBFM, Design-Build, and Facility Management contracts.
* Collaborate with finance team to secure project financing and coordinate with lenders' advisors.
* Assist in developing project costs with finance, legal, construction, and operations teams.
* Build and maintain relationships with partners, advisors, and clients.
* Prepare reports on bid progress, project descriptions, and market assessments.
* Perform other activities supporting development, finance, legal, or technical groups.
* Travel as needed for meetings.
Requirements and Competences :
* Degree in civil or industrial engineering.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English.
* Quick learner with flexibility, attention to detail, and adaptability.
* Self-starter capable of working in a team environment for P3 bids from initial teaming to financial close.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
* Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
* Strong understanding of P3 contractual frameworks.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Experience with successful P3 deals is a plus.
